FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas men’s basketball has been picked to finish third in the Southeastern Conference in 2021-22, it was announced Tuesday.
The Razorbacks, entering their third season under Eric Musselman, were picked behind Kentucky and Alabama, respectively, in a preseason poll of league and national media members.
Tennessee, Auburn, LSU and Florida round out the top half of the projections.
Arkansas landed one player on the preseason All-SEC teams — sophomore guard Davonte Davis on the second team.
Davis, who averaged 8.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game as a freshman, is the Razorbacks’ second-leading returning scorer behind guard JD Notae (12.
