FAYETTEVILLE - Even without a healthy Jonathan Williams Arkansas’s offense was supposed to be a run-oriented bunch.
Bret Bielema even said Kody Walker could be the next 1,000-yard back.
And every person who pays attention to Arkansas football knows Alex Collins is more than capable of having a Heisman-type season.
But the passing game – particularly the senior duo of Brandon Allen and Keon Hatcher – stole the show Saturday from Bielema’s traditional ground-and-pound approach.
Perhaps it was new offensive coordinator Dan Enos making an immediate mark on the offense. Maybe it was the coaching staff’s way of letting future opponents know the Hogs could throw it around the yard.
