Arkansas versus Auburn is quickly becoming a must-watch game. Nevermind this season by itself, but as a long as Bret Bielema mans Arkansas and Gus Malzahn is at Auburn, the likelihood for entertainment is high.
The relationship between the two is best termed cool. Both speak of mutual respect, but never of friendship, as they sometimes do with other coaches. The exchange of verbal strikes began just months after each took their current respective job. They’ve continued seemingly every few months since.
And as if there weren’t already enough peripheral motivations floating around Saturday’s game between the two, Auburn defensive end DaVonte Lambert upped the ante with another blow.
