Hogs let the good times roll

MEMPHIS — Times haven't been this good for Arkansas football since the last time the Razorbacks beat Kansas State.

That was four years ago this week in Dallas when Arkansas beat the Wildcats in the Cotton Bowl. The win gave the Razorbacks their 21st win in two seasons and a top five final national ranking.

Then things began to unravel a few months later.

Saturday's big win over K-State didn't return Arkansas to the same level of prominence the Razorbacks enjoyed that night in Dallas, but things are clearly on an upward trajectory. When things could have gone downhill following a forgettable September, Arkansas finished the season winning seven of its final nine games, including three on the road over teams that will be ranked in the final polls.
