Arkansas has landed ESPN 4-star quarterback Malik Hornsby a week and half after he made an official visit to Fayetteville.
Hornsby, 6-2, 175 pounds, of Missouri City, (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall chose the Hogs over Baylor, Texas A&M and Purdue mainly based off his relationship with offensive coordinator Kendal Briles.
"That relationship means a lot,” said Hornsby after his Jan. 24-26 visit. “As everyone knows, Coach Briles has been recruiting me since I was a freshman and he was at UH (Houston). I've been the quarterback he's wanted for the longest."
Hornsby, who was 25-3 as starter the past two seasons, completed 115 of 201 passes for 2,163 yards and 26 touchdowns while rushing for 1,427 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior.
