Far as it went, what happened in the second game of Saturday’s double-header between Arkansas and Kentucky was extra for the Razorbacks. Things could not have gone much better than the first two.
Zach Jackson matched Dominic Taccolini’s Friday night excellence in game two of the series and game one of the double-header. Jackson threw a complete-game, seven-inning shutout to lead the Diamond Hogs to their first series win a month, 2-0, just after lunch time Saturday.
In the nightcap, Arkansas blew a 4-3 lead in the seventh as Kentucky plated two to salvage a game, 5-4.
