Searcy offensive lineman Drew Vest has several options to play at the next level and on Tuesday he added a preferred walk-on offer from Arkansas.
He and Razorbacks offensive line coach Dustin Fry talked about the Hogs’ upcoming game and the team before Fry extended the offer.
“He called me and we talked about the Ole Miss game and what it’s like at War Memorial,” Vest said. “He told me that he would love to have me as a preferred walk-on, and that they would take me at mid-year if I choose to be with them.”
Vest (6-5, 293 pounds) caught Fry’s eye when he dominated at the Arkansas offensive and defensive line padded camp in June.
