FAYETTEVILLE -- The Arkansas defense got Texas A&M playing out of control and forced the Aggies into a season-high 21 turnovers during its 74-71 victory Wednesday night.
Texas A&M entered the game averaging 10.4 turnovers per game, with a high of 20, but the miscues started piling up early for the Aggies, who had 10 turnovers in the first 11 minutes of the game.
"They caused more turnovers than we've probably had in a long time," Texas A&M Coach Billy Kennedy said. "Our guard play wasn't as good as it needed to be. You can't turn the ball over 21 times and expect to win on the road at a tough place like this.
