FAYETTEVILLE -- Defensive end Tevin Beanum reacted to a tipped ball and intercepted a pass thrown by senior Brandon Allen on Tuesday.
Normally a camp interception isn't a big deal, but since it was the first thrown by Allen in a team period since the start of spring drills, the defense whooped it up.
"He hadn't thrown an interception since the end of the season, and we finally got him today," said cornerback D.J. Dean, who also recorded an interception Tuesday on the first day in full pads for the Razorbacks.
The interception by Beanum, off a tip by Rohan Gaines, came after the offense had won a few consecutive plays.
