The University of Arkansas didn't seem to get off its bye week until the fourth quarter, and one quarter of good play was not enough to topple No. 7 LSU.
Playing in their first game in 14 days, and last home game of the season, the Hogs were defeated 24-17 by LSU on Saturday night at Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. The Hogs (2-8, 0-6) will try to earn their first SEC victory next Saturday at Mississippi State.
Arkansas did not cross the 100-yard barrier for total offense until 14 minutes were left in the game. At the end of the third quarter, the Hogs had 91 yards on 43 plays; LSU had 261 yards on 49 plays and a 24-3 lead.
