Arkansas' second-half comeback came up just short at Wake Forest Friday night.
Anthlon Bell's game-tying three pointer as time expired was off the mark and the Demon Deacons held on to beat the Razorbacks 88-85.
Wake Forest led most of the night, but Arkansas briefly took a one-point lead with three and a half minutes remaining in the game thanks to a three by Bell.
However, it was short-lived. The Demon Deacons responded with a three of their own and did not trail down the stretch.
Arkansas had several opportunities in the final two minutes after tying the game at 83-83, but didn't capitalize.
