Hogs Can Thank Brewing “Upheaval” in UCLA Staff for Helping Land Iamaleava

Even with head coach Sam Pittman still recovering from his Tuesday hip replacement surgery, Arkansas football was still able to pull off one of Early Signing Day’s biggest coups by landing blue-chip quarterback Madden Iamaleava.

Iamaleava is a four-star prospect ranked the No. 142 prospect in the nation by ESPN and No. 207 by Rivals, who rate him as the 6th-best QB in the class. A native of Long Beach, Calif., the 6’4″ signal-caller boasts an impressive offer list ranging all the way from Oregon and SMU to Miami and Ole Miss.

Tennessee, where his older brother Nico plays, was also involved in his recruitment.
