Hogs blow 17-point lead in loss to Stanford

Arkansas blew a 17-point lead with less than seven minutes to play in a 69-66 loss to Stanford in the third-place game of the NIT Season Tip-Off.

A 21-1 Stanford run ended the game, capped by a goal-tending goal on Arkansas forward Keaton Miles on Marcus Allen’s lay-up to take the lead with two seconds left, an Arkansas technical foul and Rosco Allen’s two free throws providing the final margin.

Arkansas led 65-48 with 6:39 left when Manny Watkins made the team’s final field goal. The Razorbacks would miss their final 12 field goals to finish with a 35 percent mark from the floor in the game.
