FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will host either a conference rival or a No. 4 seed in its home NCAA super regional.
The Razorbacks are awaiting the winner of Monday's regional championship matchup in Greenville, N.C., between South Carolina and North Carolina-Wilmington. The teams will play at noon CT on ESPN3.
South Carolina is in the driver's seat of the regional and needs only one win Monday to advance to the super regional. The Gamecocks (35-24) have defeated Ohio State 8-3 and East Carolina 4-2 at the regional site.
UNC-Wilmington (39-22), which eliminated host East Carolina with a 9-7 win Sunday night, must defeat the Gamecocks twice Monday to advance to Fayetteville.
