Hog recruit driven to be the best

FRISCO, Texas — ESPN rates Frisco, Texas offensive lineman Jack Anderson the No. 1 center and the nation's No. 28 overall prospect in the 2017 class.

Frisco Coach Vance Gibson said Anderson is driven.

“I think his goal is to be the best offensive lineman in the country and he approaches practice that way and he prepares that way and I think that’s what makes him a really unique player.” Gibson said.

Anderson, 6-4, 291 pounds had 44 scholarship offers before narrowing down to 12 schools, including Arkansas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Auburn, Florida, SMU and Oklahoma recently.
