Arkansas linebacker commitment De’jon Harris did additional work in the summer with the anticipation adding running back duties to his role this season.
“I did extra conditioning with our weight and conditioning coach,” Harris said. “I spent a lot of extra time with him.”
Harris, 6-1, 237, 4.7 seconds in the 40 yard dash of Marrero, (La.) John Ehret rushed for 176 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 44-7 victory over Chalmette last week. He admits the added workload took an early toll.
“At first, I was kind of sore every week and kind of tired, but I stay in shape and hydrate during the week so I’m good,” he said.
