FAYETTEVILLE — Highland Park’s Finnegan Corwin has never experienced a high school football season that didn’t end in a state championship.
Corwin (5-10, 165), a preferred walk-on candidate who had 77catches for 1,520 yards and 15 touchdown as a senior, took an official visit to Arkansas this weekend just over a month after helping the Scots to a 16-0 season, securing a third straight Class 5A Division I state title.
Corwin had 12 catches for 142 yards and a touchdown in this season’s championship game - a 27-17 win over Shadow Creek.
He caught passes from current Razorbacks quarterback John Stephen Jones during his first two high school campaigns and junior Chandler Morris, Arkansas head coach Chad Morris’ son, this season.
