Malachi Singleton was thrust into action in about as tough of a situation as possible in the Arkansas vs Tennessee game Saturday night.
Taking over for an injured Taylen Green in the fourth quarter, things didn’t get off to a good start for the redshirt freshman. There were issues cleanly catching the snap time after time, with each near miss bringing back memories of the fumbled handoff that cost Arkansas its game vs Texas A&M last week.
Arkansas offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino opted for a primarily ground-based attack, avoiding calling pass plays for Malachi Singleton that demanded going through progressions.
