FAYETTEVILLE - Hunter Henry and Denver Kirkland are officially going pro.
The Arkansas junior tight end and junior offensive tackle each announced their declaration Monday morning for April’s NFL Draft on social media. Another junior, running back Alex Collins, is expected to meet with Arkansas coach Bret Bielema on Wednesday before announcing whether or not he will go to NFL or return to Arkansas.
Henry, a Little Rock native, was a near-unanimous All-American and Mackey Award winner. He leaves Arkansas with 116 catches, 1,661 yards and nine touchdowns in three seasons and is a projected first-round pick by ESPN’s Todd McShay, as well is being the top-ranked tight end by several other draft prognosticators.
