Harris works out with the Ravens

Alandise Harris took another step in his transition to football Tuesday.

The former Arkansas basketball player worked out for the Baltimore Ravens during their local prospect day, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Despite not playing football since high school, Harris is giving the NFL a shot before trying to play basketball overseas.

Harris, a 6-foot-6, 230-pound former forward, worked out as a tight end and reportedly caught the ball well. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds and had a 35-inch vertical jump.

He missed Arkansas' end of the year banquet April 13 because he was in Dallas at a speed training camp, according to Arkansas coach Mike Anderson.
