Harris accepts invite to East-West Shrine Bowl

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas senior linebacker De'Jon Harris has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl.

Harris is the second Razorbacks player this week to confirm participation for the game. It was announced that senior defensive tackle McTelvin Agim accepted a game invite on Wednesday.

A native of Harvey, La., Harris, one of three permanent team captains, leads Arkansas in tackles with 82 through 10 games. He finished with a team-high 118 tackles in 2018 and 115 in 2017, becoming the seventh Razorback and first since Jerry Franklin in 2010-11 to total 100-plus stops in back-to-back seasons.
