The No. 6 University of Arkansas gymnastics team kept up its strong start Friday, making history with its first dual meet victory on the road over Georgia at Stegeman Coliseum.
The Razorbacks (1-3) had a big second half of the meet by scoring 49.425 on the floor exercise and a 49.325 on the balance beam to post a 196.875 to 195.95 win over No. 10 Georgia.
Arkansas junior Kennedy Hambrick clinched the meet with a 9.925 in the anchor spot on the beam to wipe out a 9.075 from the leadoff spot
“Just really, really proud of the team,” Coach Jordyn Wieber said.
