Georgia Tech junior guard Jose Alvarado, who played all 40 minutes of the Yellow Jackets’ 69-65 victory over Arkansas at Walton Arena last season and had 20 points and nine rebounds, is questionable for Monday night’s game against the Razorbacks at McCamish Pavilion.
Georgia Tech Coach Josh Pastner said Alavardo will be a “game-time decision” because of an ankle injury that has bothered him for a couple of weeks.
Pastner blamed himself for playing Alvarado at Georgia last Wednesday night when the Bulldogs beat the Yellow Jackets 82-78. Alvardo started, but played just 17 minutes and went 1 of 7 from the field.
