FAYETTEVILLE — Quarterback C.J. Dixon of Loganville (Grayson) Ga., was once pledged to Illinois, but reopened his recruiting in December.
That decision led him to take an official visit to Arkansas this weekend.
Dixon (6-4, 215 pounds, 4.6 seconds in the 40-yard dash) took an official visit to see what the Razorbacks had to offer. He left impressed with new Arkansas coach Sam Pittman and offensive coordinator Kendal Briles.
“The highlights were definitely Coach Pittman and I got to talk to Coach Briles,” Dixon said. “So as of right now, they are pretty much number one.
