FAYETTEVILLE — With 18 innings of baseball looming, how Dave Van Horn and Michael Earley manage their pitching staffs will go a long way in determining who wins the Arkansas vs Texas A&M series.
The Aggies already have a leg up by virtue of winning Game 1 on Thursday, so the No. 2 Razorbacks must sweep Friday’s doubleheader to avoid their second straight series loss. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT and there will be about an hour between games, both of which are slated to be a full 9 innings.
Making things even more complicated for Arkansas is the fact that its two starting pitchers will likely be limited, forcing an even larger workload upon its standout bullpen.
