The Arkansas baseball team took the field at Baum-Walker Stadium on Friday afternoon for an intrasquad scrimmage ahead of Opening Day in a week’s time.
The Diamond Hogs will begin the 2025 season with a four-game home series against the Washington State Cougars. This weekend’s scrimmages, which includes a Saturday doubleheader, are one last opportunity to go through the motions and get up to speed before the real deal starts.
Arkansas baseball coach Dave Van Horn divided up his deep roster into a Gray team and a Cardinal team, with the former comprised of the starters and the latter made up of projected backups.
