FAYETTEVILLE — Liberty Coach Hugh Freeze, speaking at his weekly news conference Monday, mentioned his lack of success in games at Reynolds Razorback Stadium when he was the head coach at Ole Miss.
The No. 8 Rebels fell 30-0 to Arkansas on a cold, wet afternoon on a CBS broadcast on Nov. 22, 2014. Two years later, the No. 22 Razorbacks outlasted Freeze’s No. 12 Rebels 34-30 on homecoming on Oct. 15.
“I’ve never had success in Fayetteville,” said Freeze, whose 23rd-ranked Liberty Flames will play at Arkansas on Saturday at 3 p.m. “Now I’ll say this, the two times I’ve been there it was the worst weather I think I've ever coached in.
