On the second possible day the Arkansas football team could have a two-a-day practice, they earned their first.
It comes just a couple weeks after coach Bret Bielema said he would do everything he could to avoid assigning a double-duty day to his players. The only way he would, Bielema said, was if they earned it with a poor practice the day before.
Thursday’s was, apparently, a poor practice.
“He basically said we’ve earned a revamp of the schedule for tomorrow,” offensive lineman Dan Skipper said. “We’ll see what happens there.
