FAYETTEVILLE — Two former Arkansas football players were selected on the second day of the USFL Draft on Wednesday.
Tight end Cheyenne O’Grady and receiver La’Michael Pettway were drafted in the 34th round of the 35-round draft. O’Grady was drafted by the Tampa Bay Bandits and Pettway was selected five picks later by the Michigan Panthers.
O’Grady, a Fayetteville native, played for the Razorbacks from 2015-19 and broke the Arkansas record for career touchdowns scored by a tight end with 12. O’Grady left the team with four games remaining during the 2019 season — a decision described as “mutual” by then-Arkansas coach Chad Morris.
