It’s always a great thing when former Razorbacks excel in life after football. Too many times we hear about former athletes not being able to establish themselves after sports. That is not the case with former Arkansas Razorbacks standout DeCori Birmingham.
Most famous in Arkansas for being on the receiving end of the “Miracle on Markham” catch in 2002, the Texas native retired from football in 2010, and made his way back home to join the Texas State Troopers. Not content with only being excellent at football, the former running back received the award for Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper of the Year.
