FAYETTEVILLE — Former Arkansas running back Ben Cowins will be inducted in the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame next month.
Cowins will be one of nine individuals inducted during an Aug. 16 banquet in Waco, Texas. The SWC Hall of Fame exhibit is located in Waco at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame and includes exhibits highlighting all of the league's former member schools.
Sixty-eight individuals associated with the Razorbacks have been elected to the SWC Hall of Fame, including 33 football coaches and players.
Cowins rushed for 3,570 yards and 30 touchdowns at Arkansas between 1975-78.
