FAYETTEVILLE — Grant Morgan, a linebacker for the Arkansas football team from 2016-21 and 2021 Burlsworth Trophy winner, has reportedly been hired by the New York Giants.
Morgan’s hiring was first reported Thursday by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports and 247Sports. His role has not been specified.
Morgan spent the past two seasons on staff at Illinois under former Arkansas coach Bret Bielema. He was an assistant linebackers coach for the Fighting Illini last season after spending 2023 as a graduate assistant.
He is the second former Arkansas player under Bielema to have landed an NFL job in the past week.
