FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas men’s basketball team waited.
And waited. Then waited some more.
And waited a little longer.
Coach John Calipari didn’t like all of that waiting. He had already been worried all day.
Finally, with the final announced at-large selection for the NCAA Tournament in the final announced region, the Razorbacks heard their name.
“I kept saying, ‘Why worry? If we’re out, we’re out,'” said Calipari, who will lead 10th-seeded Arkansas against 7th-seeded Kansas at 6:10 p.m. Thursday in Providence, R.I. He and the staff saw teams they had beaten — Georgia, Texas — get in.
