FAYETTEVILLE – Bret Bielema walked into his final press conference of the spring like a man relieved Wednesday. He wore flip flops and a casual, untucked polo. He even had to fight back a few yawns during the question-and-answer session.
Though there is no real vacation time for head coaches dedicated, which to be one in the Southeastern Conference is a necessity. But this is about as close as it comes for Bielema as he prepares for his third year at Arkansas.
Bielema was preparing for an awards ceremony Wednesday night in Fort Smith with former linebacker Martrell Spaight ahead of the weekend’s NFL Draft, where Spaight hopes to be picked.
