Trey Flowers has received a lot of recognition in the month leading up to the NFL Draft.
The former Arkansas defensive end isn't projected to be a first-round pick, but Pro Football Focus, which uses analytics to grade college and professional players, would take him in the opening round.
In its NBC Sports Network draft analysis, PFF had Flowers going to the Cincinnati Bengals at 21st overall. He is the fifth edge rusher listed, behind Clemson's Vic Beasley (No. 3), Dante Fowler Jr. (No. 5), Nebraska's Randy Gregory (No. 6) and Missouri's Shane Ray (No. 8).
"The draft’s best run-stopping edge defender, Flowers brings some sneaky pass rush ability as well," PFF's evaluation says of Flowers.
