FAYETTEVILLE — The SEC released the first player availability report Wednesday for Arkansas football’s Week 9 game at Mississippi State.
Most notable on the Razorbacks’ availability report is a doubtful status for starting running back Ja’Quinden Jackson, who is battling a right ankle injury. Jackson ranks fourth in the SEC with 592 rushing yards and third with 10 rushing touchdowns.
Arkansas coach Sam Pittman foreshadowed Jackson’s status while speaking on the SEC weekly coaches teleconference earlier Wednesday. He also hinted at a probable status for backup tailback Rodney Hill, who was instead listed as questionable on the availability report.
