FAYETTEVILLE – Saturday was just the first scrimmage of the Arkansas football team’s fall camp. It was just the ninth day of practice.
The defense the Razorbacks showed from the last half of the 2014 regular season was back. Big hits, tackles for-loss and even a few turnovers highlighted the day. The running game, too, was a sight to behold. Both Rawleigh Williams and Alex Collins broke long touchdown runs.
It’s a good thing, too, considering the other side of the ball was mostly hard to watch. Through the air, anyway.
It didn’t matter who was behind center.
