The weekend’s mass shooting in a Little Rock, Ark., club meant a major scare for legendary Arkansas running back Darren McFadden.
McFadden, the leading rusher in school history, had three family members injured in the shooting, as reported by Austin Kellerman of Little Rock-based TV station KARK.
The incident, which occurred early Saturday morning at the Power Ultra Lounge, left 25 people wounded and three more injured during the desperate attempts to escape the gunfire. Among the injured were three relatives of McFadden, with ages of 35, 23 and 16.
Video showed McFadden approaching the club before being told to move back by police who were investigating the scene.
