FAYETTEVILLE — Instead of answering its few lingering questions, Arkansas may have created more tough decisions for Dave Van Horn over Opening Weekend.
The Razorbacks got yet another solid start and multiple contributions from backups in their 12-2 run-rule win Monday afternoon that completed a four-game sweep of Washington State at Baum-Walker Stadium.
Just as he did in Game 2, Van Horn sprinkled his lineup with three players who spent all preseason playing with the backups in Arkansas’ scrimmages and they delivered, combining to go 4 for 11 with three RBIs, two walks and six runs.
