FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas guard Chelsea Dungee was recognized by the Southeastern Conference just days after putting together the best performance of her college career.
The Razorbacks’ senior guard and leading scorer was named SEC player of the week for the second time this season on Tuesday. This week she shares the award with Tennessee's Tamari Key.
Dungee averaged 26.5 points on 51.4% shooting and 5 of 10 from 3-point range in Arkansas’ home victories over No. 3 UConn and Auburn.
Dungee poured in a season-high 37 points and hit 4 of 5 3-point attempts against the Huskies, leading the Razorbacks to their second victory over an Associated Press top 5 team in Bud Walton Arena in this season.
