FAYETTEVILLE — The LSU fans celebrating outside the visiting team’s interview room at Tiger Stadium made it difficult to hear Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

It didn’t help that Dart struggled to find the words to try to explain LSU’s 29-26 overtime victory Oct. 12, when the Tigers never led in regulation and Ole Miss was ahead by as many as 10 points.

But one thing Dart said, with his hoodie pulled low over his head, came through loud and clear.

“We’ve got to win out,” Dart said. “So it’s our only option.”

Dart understood Ole Miss couldn’t afford another loss and have any hope of making the 12-team College Football Playoff after being upset 20-17 by Kentucky at home Sept.
