FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas football team was riding a big wave of enthusiasm heading into their first open date four weeks ago after a huge upset of No. 4 Tennessee at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
In the aftermath of that field-storming win, Coach Sam Pittman was in demand for big-outlet interviews as the Razorbacks basked in the accolades of the defensive number they did on the previously high-flying Volunteers.
This week, the energy is in a much different direction after last Saturday’s 63-31 home loss to No. 19 Ole Miss, which dropped the Hogs to 5-4 overall and 3-3 in SEC play.
