Keaton McKinney threw a complete game shutout and Andrew Benintendi's added 3 RBIs as No. 23 Arkansas finished off a series sweep of Alabama on Saturday.
McKinney allowed just two hits and one walk as the Razorbacks beat the Crimson Tide 4-0 at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. The freshman became the first Arkansas pitcher since Brett Eibner in 2009 to throw a complete game shutout.
The complete game was McKinney's second this season. No other SEC freshman has thrown a complete game.
Benintendi added RBIs in three separate at-bats, including a solo home run to leadoff the top of the fifth inning to extend the Razorbacks' lead to 2-0.
