Diamond Hogs sign seven more players

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas announced Tuesday that it has signed seven more players during the November early signing period for the 2016 class.

Five in-state players were announced last week and this bunch includes three players from the Kansas City area.

Tyler Benninghoff - a right-handed pitcher from Rockhurst High in Overland Park, Kansas - will be reunited with his brother, Jack, who redshirted with the Razorbacks in 2015.

The younger Benninghoff is one the best prospects in the country, rated as the No. 75 overall player and No. 23 right-handed pitcher by Perfect Game. He went 5-1 with a 1.
