Arkansas did most of its damage in one inning and made it stick Friday night.
The Razorbacks scored five runs in the fifth inning en route to a 8-4 victory over Alabama that clinched their sixth straight SEC series win. That is Arkansas’ longest streak since 2004, when it eventually reached the College World Series.
The Crimson Tide used an RBI fielder’s choice and a bases loaded walk to take a 2-0 lead in the third, but the Razorbacks needed only two innings to pull ahead.
Clark Eagan got Arkansas on the board by stealing home in the fourth, setting the stage for the big fifth inning.
