DALLAS — Adou Thiero was the only player for the 16th-ranked Arkansas basketball team to have more than one field goal in the first half Saturday night during a 72-67 loss to No. 8 Baylor.
He opened the second half at American Airlines Center with a personal 5-0 run consisting of a midrange and a three-pointer. After the deep shot, Thiero and Arkansas coach John Calipari smacked right hands on the way back on defense.
Thiero was impressive. He was the Razorbacks’ offensive catalyst, finishing with a game-high 24 points while shooting 10 of 15 from the field and grabbed 6 rebounds — 2 on the offensive glass — and had 2 assists.
