Imagine being 15-11 overall and 4-9 in the Southeastern Conference and still having a shot at an at-large bid.
Arkansas tried as hard as it could on Wednesday night to get a resume-boosting win at No. 1 Auburn, but couldn’t overcome poor free throw shooting and a few guys taking the night off in a 67-60 defeat.
An Arkansas win would have been nice to rub in the face of Auburn’s Chad Baker-Mazara, the 25-year-old who loves to flex on a bunch of Razorback freshmen 18-year-olds who were playing just as well as he was in Karter Knox and Billy Richmond.
