FAYETTEVILLE — Football is the ultimate team game. At the top level of college football, the rosters are deep and talented.
The top half-dozen teams in the College Football Playoff field three units (offense, defense and special teams) with about 60 top-line players. There may be some elite players sprinkled around, but there are no real weak links in any one area.
That’s what I saw with No. 3 Texas in a 20-10 victory over Arkansas on Saturday at Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The Longhorns have no weaknesses. They don’t make glaring errors. They are deep and coached perfectly.
