SAN FRANCISCO — Can a team loaded with star freshmen, experienced transfers, a large NIL budget and a Hall of Fame coach rightfully be a postseason Cinderella story?
That is the question facing the Arkansas basketball team, which had to claw its way into the NCAA Tournament because of a 1-6 SEC record in January.
And since playing catch up to make it into the Big Dance, the Razorbacks (22-13) have yet to take off their dancing shoes.
Cinderella or not, Arkansas — the No. 10 seed in the West Region — has turned into arguably the biggest March Madness storyline as the lowest seed remaining in the tournament.
