FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas women’s basketball coach Mike Neighbors hopes his team is up for a challenge in 2022-23.
The Razorbacks’ fifth-year coach has assembled a unique schedule that includes 15 non-conference games, the maximum allowed by an NCAA rule changed during the offseason. Arkansas will play eight non-conference games away from home, marking the first time since 2009-10 that the program will have fewer games scheduled at home than on the road or at a neutral site.
“I know we were really young last year. They’re a year older and a year wiser, so I felt like we needed to challenge them,” Neighbors said.
